Updates
It's been a while, yes, but today I've started with a few updates to all the pages. Some are small, some are even smaller, but all have been changed in some small way. I'll try to keep it up (the updates that is...) so please keep the feedback coming...
Cheers!

We're Open !
Well hello, and welcome to Bay Area Brit's. This is just a small website I thought of that might be useful for myself as well as any other Brit's in the Bay Area for links back home or a place to talk.
One of the fairly frustrating things I found, when I moved to the area, was a lack of things I take for granted back home such as Marmite (I know this is a love hate relationship for most of you), or Lyle's Golden Syrup (not been able to find it yet). I must admit things are getting better and the more I scout around the more I uncover so I can't complain too loudly.
Mostly you'll want to check out the 4WTGI page or the Forums - that's where I hope all the useful information will be. Please please help me help others coming to this website by posting any relevant information.
Finally, if this site ever makes a profit (and I highly doubt it ever will) I will give it to charity (suggestions are welcome, but don't hold your breath).
some time in 2006!
Comments
If there's one thing that is going to make for break this site it's you. This is a grand experiment for me as I've never really tried to keep a site up and running that is used by other people. I'm not saying that many people are going to use it but even if one or two people do, and if it helps anyone at all then it's been worth it. By the way, if anyone wants to contribute to the site or wants even to take over a section, i.e. a British Humor section for example then let me know and I'm sure we can work something out.
Last but not least...
Finally I'll sign off. I hope you like the site and if you don't then please please please give me some constructive criticism. As I said, I've never done anything like this before so it's going to be a learning experience.
